someone had stolen my desk calendar.

Its no ordinary promotional calendar.

It was a Feng Shui calendar that tells you which days are auspicious and which days to avoid (unlucky) for business, love, travel, renovations, etc.

I can't believe its been missing for DAYS and I simply did NOT notice.

Not to mention that someone also stole my Krispy Kreme mug from the pantry 2 weeks ago.

I hate petty thievery.

You Learn Something New Everyday...

Cliche, I know.

Actually it was more of last night. I LEARNED that clarity of purpose is a virtue (value) of a Heroic leader.

Someone told, or rather, 'clarified' where he was in life right now. And that scenario did not include me as a clear component in the equation, but rather that of someone "considered and thought of very carefully".

Interesting conversation that was, at past 2:30am.  It required a great deal of maturity (and numbness?) to get through it without shedding tears.

For a moment, I wondered, "Am I getting numb already?"

This morning, as I dressed up for work, I told myself that our conversation last night should really be seen as more of a blessing:  This means the clarity I got enables me to move on, and love freely again... ready to meet that someone who will love me the way I want to be loved.
