I can't survive without sleep.

Got home a bit past 5:30am, after attending a kick-ass virtual conference called "Social Media:  Cracking the Code" by the American Marketing Association.

I was literally dizzy and lethargic, and forced myself to drive as carefully as possible going home.  Finally zonked out at 6:45am (neighbor left early for his coding day).  Got up at 11am still woozy.

Found out J.C., my goofy colleague, attended the same session and DID NOT SLEEP.  He got to the office at 630am.  Bloodshot eyes for him the whole day, but he seemed perfectly ok.  How'd he survive?  Go figure.

What made it bad was that it made look bad since I swaggered in at 1pm, in time for my first meeting of the day.

I'm no longer built for sleepless nights.

To satisfy my soft-boiled eggs and kaya toast cravings...

Kopi Roti pales in comparison to Ya Kun Kaya Toast, or simply, "YKK".  I managed to drag 6 other officemates to take literal coffee break at Kopi Roti branch in The Columns late this afternoon in order to fulfill my selfish cravings.  And so my discovery.

I'm loving how generous YKK is with their fillings.  Yeah, I know that a pat of butter + kaya everyday is unhealthy.  That's why I limit my fat intake to allow for this treat.   YKK allows you to season your soft-boiled eggs on your own (Singapore soy, sweet sauce, salt & pepper) vs. Kopi Roti's pre-seasoned ones.
(My order last Feb. 24, 2010:  Full Set of Peanut Butter Kaya Toast,
a glass of iced Milo Dinosaur and 2 soft-boiled eggs)

And YKK's interiors seem to be homier (must be the red walls) compared to the bright, stark walls of Kopi Roti.  You know what they say about the color red:  It stimulates the appetite!  Hmmm, maybe that's why...

I noticed that...

...I might have ADD.

I multi-task, and jump from one thing to another... but quickly forgetting about what I was supposed to do earlier.

Talk about having a Dory moment.

But when I do start something new, my eyes are rapidly flitting back and forth, trying to absorb and learn whatever comes my way.  Especially that I do a lot of them online.  And it all happens as I'm trying to search for my old (read:  Circa 2006) blog post about Sumilon Island in Cebu.  I need that for my OTHER new blog.

Oh yeah, the overhead lighting over someone's cubicle is flickering on and off.  I noticed that too.
